The tile is fine. It's the grout that went grey.
People usually book this because the floor looks dingy, and then discover the tiles themselves were never the problem. Grout is porous, closer to a hard sponge than to the tile beside it, and dirty water sinks into it and stays. That's why a floor can be mopped every week and still look grey along every line: mopping mostly moves dirty water around and a good deal of it ends up in the grout.
Why mopping makes it worse over time
A mop picks dirt up off the tile and puts it into the bucket, and then puts a diluted version of that bucket back onto the floor. The tile wipes clean because it's non-porous. The grout doesn't, because it absorbs. Repeat weekly for a few years and the grout lines end up several shades darker than the day they were laid, while the tile still looks perfectly fine.
Pressure instead of scrubbing
The alternative most people try is a stiff brush and a strong cleaner on hands and knees, which is slow, exhausting, and abrasive on the grout itself. High-pressure steam lifts the dirt out of the pores instead of grinding at the surface. It's faster, it reaches into the whole depth of the line rather than the top of it, and it doesn't wear the grout down.

Do you seal the grout afterwards?+
Ask us when you book. Sealing is a separate thing from cleaning and whether it makes sense depends on the grout you have, so we'd rather answer for your actual floor than make a blanket claim here. What is always true is that grout has to be clean and fully dry before anything is applied to it.
Can you clean shower tile, not just floors?+
Showers are a common request and the grout there takes a different kind of punishment: constant moisture and soap residue rather than foot traffic. Mention it when you book, and flag anything you already know about, like a cracked line or a loose tile, so we can look at it properly.
Will my grout go back to its original colour?+
Usually much closer than people expect, though it's honest to say that grout which has been absorbing dirty water for a decade may not return to brand new. What you get back is the colour it actually is under the soiling. If you want a specific uniform shade, that's a colouring job rather than a cleaning one.
Is it safe for natural stone?+
Tell us what your floor is before you book. Natural stone is not the same as ceramic or porcelain and it matters, so it's a question worth asking rather than assuming. If you're not sure what you have, a photo usually settles it.
How messy is it?+
Less than you'd think, because the equipment extracts the water and the dirt as it goes rather than leaving it on the floor to be mopped up afterwards. You'll want to keep the area clear while we're working and stay off it until it's dry, but you're not left with a flooded kitchen.
How long does a kitchen floor take?+
It's driven by square footage and how much grout line there is, and small tiles mean far more grout per square foot than large-format ones. That's the detail worth mentioning when you ask for the quote: not just the room size but roughly how big the tiles are.
